why does it seem that restraint/moderation/self-control can be enjoyable at times, but not at all desirable at others? is the restraint of something really just an indulgence of limitations, and that’s why it is seemingly enjoyable?
I’ll take a stab at both question.
1. I think it depends on the object to determine this
